I've been fortunate in being able to travel several times to one of my favourite destinations, Canada and Alaska. I enjoy planning tailor-made packages to Canada, including the Rockies with the option of an Alaskan Cruise, and some of the fabulous rail journeys within Canada including the famous Rocky Mountaineer and Canadian.

Cruising is another of my favourite travel experiences, having cruised extensively over the years with many different types of cruise company. Perhaps you have not considered cruising as an option before - I will be able to advise you which companies suit your needs, including many of the less obvious options (smaller ships and expedition ships) and things they don't tell you in the brochures or websites. I have also escorted many groups abroad, which has given me local knowledge of many destinations and cruise ports worldwide, which I am happy to share with you.

Or you may not have considered River Cruising - a great way to see many cities and picturesque towns not only in Europe but Russia, China and the Far East. Why not combine it with a trip on the famous Orient Express which I've had the pleasure of sampling some years ago.
